Become a Clann Carer
Clann Australia Pty Ltd (Clann) has formed the Clann Regional Jobs Consortium (CRJC) with ‘Life. Be in it’™ and The Education Professionals Pty Ltd. The CRJC is fully aligned with G21 and is integrated with the Geelong regional growth strategies.
The CRJC has developed a holistic program to create and develop a national private industry model for family day care to operate alongside the current public model, supplemented by a training scheme, accreditation services, and an online and mobile booking and payment gateway service for families and carers to connect, communicate and safely transact.
The CRJC has a goal to help make the daily experiences of every child in care a healthy, fun, rewarding learning experience. We also have goals to:
- help working parents (particularly working mothers) have more convenient childcare;
- help child care workers get better remuneration without increasing costs to government and families; and
- ultimately help Australian society, so that we as a country can fulfil our full potential individually and as a nation as we move into the 21st century.
By 2020, our aim is to have every working parent using our platform at least once a week, and a newly qualified child carer operating on every suburban street of Australia where there is significant unmet childcare demand.
